It was one of the best English classes I've ever taken with the perfect blend of friendliness and urgency. The ambience was great and ma'am gave space for the students to portray their linguistic creativity while being ahead in terms of the syllabus at the same time. The quality of notes provided was really good and the exercise book became my Bible during the last days of preparation for the boards. But perhaps the best thing that made ma'am stand out in the crowd of other English teachers I've come across was the way she prioritized the development of creative writing skills among the students which helped in the betterment of my English by leaps and bounds. All in all, it was a great learning curve!

Sharmila ma'am is an amazing teacher and an amazing human. Her classes were never boring or uninteresting, and did not focus 24×7 on JUST scoring well , rather focused on how to develop our skills, recognise our mistakes, and most importantly, love the subject. Definitely recommend her classes.

I had found a wonderful teacher and a life guide in Sharmila Ma'am in her classes, who could go beyond the boundaries of classroom teaching to discussions on the Literary materials pertaining to syllabus and also on important topics that need societal concern. I always felt a teacher shouldn't simply be constricted by the walls of curriculum, and Ma'am is ideally the teacher every student would want to be taught by. From the clarity towards Shakespearean literature to understanding the thoughts behind Victorian era poetry. The beauty of literature needs to be understood and felt and sometimes you need teachers like her, for guidance, if you are unable to connect with it. One of the best tuition centres I've ever come across. I've had the privilege and honour to be a part of this wonderful tuition where I've spent the best 8 years of my life. Ma'am was a very accurate teacher and she helped me wade through ISC English without much trouble. That aside, the place and the other students made it an excellent experience to sit through the classes. I still remember how work always got done and we used to have homework to hone our writing skills. To add to it, ma'am was also a very nice and kindhearted woman and took to every student at a personal level so that I never felt out of place or awkward. I still remember her love for animals, particularly stray cats and dogs – I don't know how far that contributes to efficiency (efficiency as in defined in the most narrow sense), but certainly it does students of literature good to be taught by a kind person.
